Why is Troop 123 run this way ... ?We feel that a well led Troop is a boy led Troop. The boy leadership consist of older Scouts of First Class or above in rank, that were elected by the other Scouts. This form of leadership gives the Scouts a chance to be a leader, learn personal responsibility, and leadership skills. It also makes the Troop more fun. It’s their ideas and wants that we are doing, but it is not anarchy, we set guidelines and limits on what they can do and we emphasize following the Scout Law and Promise.
